Features & Improvements

March 2021

Check out these new features on the eForms Mobile

cloud platform and mobile application:

  • Users Map – The new Users Map shows the location history of users on the dashboard. This can be accessed by navigating on the dashboard to Admin > Users Map. Click on the carat next to “Active Users” to expand the menu to show all users available.

  • User Color Codes – A custom User Color Code can now be set for a user to identify the user on mapping and other visualization screens across the dashboard. This color can be set within the “Regional Settings & Advanced Options” section of the user page, accessible by navigating to Admin > Users & Groups and then selecting “edit user” for the user.  This feature has also been added to the User Import template spreadsheet and API.

  • Image Resizing Validation – Validation has been added to the “Resize Images To” field in page settings to ensure users do not resize images smaller than 100 pixels or larger than 4000 pixels. This validation triggers when the design is saved.

  • SSO Client Secrets – The Client Secrets for SSO connections within Organization Setup has been hidden by obscuring the characters for added security.

  • Multi-Delete – A multi-delete function for forms has been added. Screens may now be selected and deleted en masse. This can be done from the Forms/Screens window and the Trash.

  • Reassign to Group – A Reassign to Group option has been added to process step properties. Users can now reassign a task and choose the recipient/target.

  • Task Name Parameter – A Task Name parameter has been added for Task API Search requests.

  • Run After Connector – Form connectors can now be scheduled to run on a staggered basis, firing after another connector has run.

  • Use URL for media files – A “Use URL for media Fields” option has been added to SQL and Google BigQuery Connectors. If this option is enabled, media filenames will be converted to their full URLs.

  • WHERE clause– A WHERE clause is now available on SQL Connectors.

  • SQL Non-Default Schema– The SQL Server connector now supports referring to objects in non-default schema. The new Schema field will add an optional SQL Server database schema where the table is stored. If the field is kept empty, the default schema will be used.

  • User Type Column– A User Type column has been added to Active Users data source. The data in this column can be displayed on a listing screen linked to this data source to better visualize user data.
